Competition Council has authorized the economic concentration

On 26.08.2016 Competition Council has authorized the economic concentration consisting in acquiring control over a retail space which appertain FPC "Vicam " SRL (SC "Premiu - Consum" SRL) on the basis of a lease contract by "Moldretail Group" SRL.

The analysis made from the competition perspective has demonstrated that the economic concentration does not raise a significant impediment to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a significant part of it, especially by creating or consolidating a dominant position.
