SIGNING OF THE MEMORANDUM ON REGIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF COMPETITION POLICY BETWEEN THE COMPETITION AUTHORITIES OF THE CANDIDATE COUNTRIES FOR ACCESSION TO THE EUROPEAN UNION

Signing of the MEMORANDUM OF REGIONAL COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF COMPETITION POLICY between the competition authorities of the candidate countries for accession to the European Union, namely the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova and the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, and the national competition authorities of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

We strongly believe that this agreement will launch new opportunities and provide effective solutions to develop the national legal framework harmonised with the EU acquis and strengthen the institutional capacities of the Competition Council. It will also help to promote and strengthen regional cooperation relations in the field of competition policy and enforcement.

The Memorandum will provide a platform for cooperation between the participants, ensuring continuous communication, exchange of information and best practices in the field.
