The role of state authorities in creating a fair competition environment discussed in Belarus at the International Conference 

At the moment, in the framework of the International Conference on problems of antimonopoly regulations, which takes place from 29 to 31 May 2018, in Minsk, Belarus, Mrs. Viorica CARARE, the President of Competition Council is presenting the experience of the Republic of Moldova. It is the first time when the subject of public institution's involvement in the process of building a fair competition environment has been examined by the participants.   
In the meanwhile, within the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation in competition field will be signed between the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulations and Trade of the Republic of Belarus. 
The Memorandum will serve as a legal framework for the extension and consolidation of cooperation between the two authorities and has the objective to stimulate the professional collaboration, beneficial to the both institutions. Also, the agreement will seek to promote and intensify the exchange of experience and information, inclusively in the field of investigations, with reference to the infringement of competition rules.
