The Plenum of the Competition Council has authorized the state aid granted to Î.M. „Serviciul de Salubrizare Telenești”

The Competition Council has examined the notification received from the Telenești Town Hall on 22/04/2015, regarding the transmission of a waste management polygon in the economic management of Î.M. „Serviciul de Salubrizare Telenești”.

Creating waste management polygon was aimed at creating new opportunities for economic development, attracting investment and improving quality of life. Its effective management will produce the following effects:

·       improving human health, thus contributing on labor productivity;

·       reducing the risk to health linked to uncontrolled waste management;

·       improve the aesthetics aspect of the landscape, improving the investment environment of the concerned localities and of the whole region.

It was found that the notified support measure constitutes state aid within the meaning of art. 3 of Law no. 139 of 15.06.2012 regarding the state aid and is compatible with a normal competitive environment.

However, the Telenești Town Hall will adopt an entrustment act for the water supply and sanitation centralized public service, meeting the conditions mentioned in the 12th and 13th from the Regulation on state aid granted for the beneficiaries which provide services of general economic interest, until 31/12/2015.
