Workshop on „Analysis of economic sectors in order to identify major obstacles on competition”

     Tuesday, October 21, 2014, in Chisinau took place Workshop "Analysis of economic sectors in order to identify key obstacles on competition" organized by the Competition Council and Human Toolkit Company with the World Bank support.

     This event was aimed at disseminating the results of the study conducted by the Human Toolkit Company, from July 1  to  September 30, 2014 in framework of the World Bank Project "Improvement of the competitiveness" and providing the recommendations for overcoming major obstacles on competition in the Republic of Moldova, bringing successful examples of international experience, including the European Community countries.

     The objective of the study was to determine the sectors and / or markets priority of the economy of the Republic of Moldova, on which are presented major obstacles for competition and where efforts to eliminate anti-competitive practices could have a potentially significant impact on competition conditions in these sectors and / or markets, on the economy of the Republic of Moldova.
