Regulation on state rescue aid for beneficiaries in difficulty was published

On 1 November 2013 the Decision of the Plenum of the Competition Council nr.6 din 30 august 2013 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova no 243-247 din 01.11.2013) entered into force, approving the Regulation on state rescue aid for beneficiaries in difficulty.

     The regulation at issue is drafted in view of enforcing the Law on state aid no 139 as of 15.06.2012 and transposed the European norms related state aid to state rescue aid for beneficiaries in difficulty.

     Regulation on state rescue aid for beneficiaries in difficulty transposes the norms on categories of beneficiaries of aid for rescuing undertakings in difficulty, as well and/or for restructuring such undertakings.

     The Regulation at issue provides for the criteria for grating the aid for rescuing and/or restructuring, namely: intensity of the aid, eligible costs, conditions of granting the aid and conditions regulating the aid cumulation etc.
