On July, 1 2014 the Competition Council announces the launch of the Automated information system “State Aid Register”.
Created with the direct support of the World Bank, this system aims to establish a mechanism for monitoring of granted State aid and effective collaboration between aid providers and the Competition Council.
State aid registry is an information system which contains a database on granted state aid, managed by the Competition Council, which shall act as holder of State aid Register.
The principles of operation of state aid register lies in transparency in initiating and granting of state aid, integrated record state aid and access of citizens to public information on state aid.
Competition Council establishes and updates the Register of state aid granted in the Republic of Moldova, based on the Reporting forms, information and data submitted by providers of state aid in accordance with Article 19 of Law No. 139 of 15.06.2012 on State aid.
State aid Register is kept in electronic form in state language. It is updated regularly with information on new aid schemes and new individual aid granted.
State aid Register shall include in particular information concerning State aid providers, the legal basis ( legislative act, regulatory or legal) of State aid granting, granting period, state aid measures, (scheme of State or individual aid) categories and forms of state aid granting in accordance with Law No. 139 of 15.06.2012 on State aid.
Implementation of Automated information system “State Aid Register” will contribute to streamline the use of resources from the state budget through a system of notification, monitoring and reporting measures of state aid on-line that will allow each provider of state aid to complete forms electronically, without going to the Council, thus saving time and material resources.
