For correct and efficient implementation of the provisions of competition legislation, its enforcement ensuring, by action of warning of the anti-competitive practices, violations abolishment, promotion and increasing of competitive culture, the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova organized meetings and debates with key market players.
In this regard Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 10:00 am, within the Competition Council was held a roundtable related to notification of concentrations at which participated representatives of the business community.
During the event was exchanged information about the economic concentration, effects of notification and non notification of the operations of economic concentration, they discussed certain aspects of tits legal framework and procedural rules.
At the same time event participants were informed about the obligation and importance of notification of operations of economic concentrations to the Competition Council until they are implemented.
During the event, were discussed also other subjects and issues faced by businesses such as administrative barriers, liberalization of markets, product quality certification, etc.
The final roundtable participants noted the importance of the discussions during the meeting and the need to continue cooperation in this regard, which will contribute to a loyal competitive environment.
