On January 10th, a new meeting took place dedicated to the implementation of the National Competition and State Aid Program for 2017-2020, with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and of the Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices.
The main topics discussed at the meeting were focused on the 1st – 6th parts of the Action Plan regarding the implementation of the provisions of the Program, which refers in particular to the pharmaceutical regulations, the medical services provided by the public and private entities, the role of different public authorities in promoting pro-competitive policies in the health sector.
Representatives of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and of the Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices have assured of their good intentions to collaborate with the Competition Council, in order to identify and remove the anti-competitive barriers and to evaluate the exclusive rights in the medical and pharmaceutical domain.
