The Competition Council of Republic of Moldova is organizing, on 16-17 March 2015, training on State Aid implementation for a group of experts from Ukraine, who are in a work visit to Chisinau.
The Delegation includes representatives from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, the Ministry of Finance and the EU project implementation team ĂœHarmonization of Public Procurement System in Ukraine with EU Standards .
During the event, the Competition Council experts will present the evolution of the state aid system in Moldova, the regulation, notification, approval, monitoring and reporting procedures of state aid. The training participants will also be acquainted with the monitoring of state aid inventory.
At the same time, the competition authority experts from Moldova will share their expertise with their Ukrainian colleagues on developing and implementing the IT platform for reporting and notification of state aid (SIRASM).
This training is designed to cintinue the cooperation between the competition authorities from Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, in order to improve the enforcement capacity of competition and state aid legislation.
For this purpose, in 2013, the Competition Council representatives attended the joint meeting of the competition authority of Ukraine and the deputies of Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, in order to support their Ukrainian colleagues in the harmonization of state aid legislation to the EU acquis, and in 2014 has conducted a work visit as a promoter of the newly developed SIRASM system.
