“Supraten” S.A. is to pay a fine of over 1 million lei to the state budget, which was imposed on it for the infringement of the competition law, manifested by the illegal copying of the packaging product belonging to “Saint-Gobain Byggprodukter AB”, Sweden.

The Supreme Court of Justice upheld the Competition Council s decision to find that the actions taken by Supraten S.A. are likely to create confusion and might be capable of affecting the applicant s legitimate interests.
