Summary of the Competition Council Plenum Decision no. ASS-18 as of 22.05.2017

The Competition Council examined the notification sent from the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications regarding the exemption of Î.S. "Poșta Moldovei" from the breakdown into the state budget of part of the net profit obtained in 2016. As a result of the examination was ascertain that the notified aid measure constitutes state aid and is compatible with the normal competitive environment.
State aid granted to Î.S. "Poșta Moldovei" is necessary in order to provide the universal postal service and will not unnecessarily distort the competitive environment.
